Warming up to the rhythms of
the Foundation's Optimus, Mercen and other conscious hip hop
musicians and poets, more than 200 mostly students and young
workers marched on Verizon, Bechtel and other war
profiteers. The rally culminated in a planning session that
evolved into two working groups doing outreach strategizing
within the student and labor communities.
