Eustaquio Polo is a leader of displaced people battling to prevent their land from being turned into palm-oil plantations. As a consequence, he has been subject to death threats and accusations that he is a guerilla.

This event brings Polo to Boston, a city that has a close relationship with Colombia by way of immigration and because much of it's energy comes from Colombia.

Stop The Wars Coalition and Chelsea United Against The War endorsed a statement produced by the Evergreen College SDS in Olympia, WA. (Students for a Democratic Society.) in defense of six youth who were wrongfully arrested by the police for peacefully demonstrating against a racist attack by police officers on a young man who attended the Dead Prez hip-hop show at Evergreen College.
